The next issue of the newsletter will be coming out in August. We are asking for your help in making this issue reflect more of YOUR news and views. In order to accomplish that goal, please send us any short dart stories, humorous quips, etc.

We are also asking for any “Milestones” between the period of January 2009 and May 2010 – birth announcements (need Baby name and birth date), if you graduated from school (i.e., college – we’ll need College name/graduation date/what your major was), Weddings (name of spouse and wedding date), etc. Please send the above to the Alvin Elton (WCD Director/Publications Committee Chair) at “alvinelton@windycitydarters.org“. Your comments and thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Our editor, Janis Francis, is also asking for comments to the question:

My most memorable dart experience was . . . :

It can be anything – winning your 1st City Champion, throwing your 1st Ton 80, an embarrassing moment, etc. It can be anything you feel is your most memorable dart experience – funny or serious. Please submit only 1 dart memory and in about 25 words or less as space is limited.

We could use a hand with the setup and/or tear down of the hall. We also could use help during the tournament, even if it’s for a half hour, hour. We have many tasks, some small, some large, but all important, that need to be done throughout the weekend, that we could use some help with. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.
